Future Tense

 

Directions: Change present tense verbs into future tense.

Example:  I go to the store.  I will go to the store.

 

1. I drive to the store.  I ___________________ to the store.

2. I stop at the red light.  I _________________ at the red light.

3.  I walk around the block.  I ___________________ around the block.

4.  I listen to my son about his day.  I ___________________ to my son about his day.

5.  I eat dinner at 5:00.   I _________________________ at 5:00.

Lesson #3 Past Tense Verbs

Past Tense –y and Irregular verbs

Directions: change the present tense verbs into past tense.

Example:  study  -> studied

1.      I cry when I cut onions.  I cried when I cut an onion.

2.     We try to eat at home all week.  We ________ to eat at home all week.

3.     I fry chicken for dinner.  I ________ chicken for dinner.

4.     I shy away from strangers.   I _________ away from strangers.

5.     I am going to marry my sweetheart.  I ____________ my sweetheart.

 

Irregular verbs-  you have to memorize them!

 

1.     I blow out the candles.  I _________ out the candles.

2.     He buys food.  He __________ food.

3.     We sit on the couch.  We _______ on the couch.

4.     She drives to school.  She ________ to school.

5.     I catch the ball.  I _________ the ball.

6.     The cat falls out of the tree.  The cat _______ out of the tree.

7.     We feed the dog.   We _____ the dog.

8.     The teacher gives us homework.  The teacher ________ us homework.

9.     The girls knows the answer.  The girl ___________ the answer.

10.                         I lose my keys.  I ________ my keys.

Updates?

So, I pretty much use Facebook as my blog, posting pics and lines about the girls.

I would like to start blogging it. Who knows if this will stick?

How about just today-
JoElle got her very first pimple- she's almost 9. She is pretty nonchalant about it. I rushed to Walgreens to get her anti-acne cream and some foundation for coverage. She liked the makeup!

I know a soon as I started breaking out, I started using my sisters makeup!

Alexa can't quite fall asleep because she is super super excited that tomorrow is her very first field trip as a kindergartner!

They are going to a farm, she has her pink cowgirl boots and she is ready to go!!!

Wish I were there to take pics!!
I can't wait for her fun stories!
