40 weeks pregnant

JoElle is somewhere between 7 and 8 lbs (it has been several weeks since the last ultrsound, when she was 7 lbs).Yes I am huge...If she hasn't come by the 17th, our Dr. will be inducing that week, which is a week after her due date. So, no more than a week and 1/2 now!I am still working, keeps me busy. But Tim has been driving me to work for the past few weeks now.

November 2004

JoElle kicks a whole lot. She likes to wake me and daddy up around 2 or 3 a.m. and then again at 5 or 6 a.m. I guess she is trying to prepare us...

October 2004

I am already going in to the doctor every two weeks now, and she is moving, kicking, and hitting like crazy! Wednesday we are having the 3D ultrasound done, so there will be new pics soon.We have her crib set up and most of her furniture. I am still working on her bathroom!! (I know I am a little slow....)

Letter to JoElle from Daddy

I just want everyone to know that I love my baby girl. She means everything to me. I can't wait until we see each other face to face. I will be in tears of love and joy over her. I love you JoElle.

It's a girl!!!

We had our ultrasound today and yes we are having a baby girl!! My mom was with us and we were all very excited. We saw the spine, the heart beating, the legs, arms, and feet, the baby's botttom....!!Ok so I HAD to buy a few cute girl outfits from my favorite baby store, Gap Baby. I bought a cute little pink dress, cute long-sleeved top and curdouroy pants!!!

Baby loves to move

The baby has been moving a lot in the past two weeks!( at least I can finally feel it!)Last night, Tim was singing and the baby just kept kicking and moving! The baby really liked to listen to Daddy sing!Ok the countdown is on....next Friday, Sept 3, we are having THE sonogram....to see if we will have baby JoElle or baby Jeremiah!!Also, we are halfway done! I am 20 weeks.

20 weeks

4 months pregnant

4 months have passsed by so quickly!We are in the 17th week now.Our next sonogram is in early September, and YES we are going to (try) to find out if the baby will be JoElle or Jeremiah!My belly is poking out more and more and I am still sick a lot. I don't think this morning sickness (all day sickness...) will go away!We are in the process of doing the baby's room: paint is up on (most of) the walls, and we will be getting the furniture soon, so stay posted for pics!

We are now in our second trimester! My belly is starting to pop out just a little...just enough that my clothes don't fit...Our baby is about 3 1/2 inches long and weighs 1-2 ounces- The baby has grown 50 times heavier in just one month! Isn't it amazing?I am still having morning sickness, pretty much everyday, but other than that, everything is fine!

15 weeks along

15 weeks today! My belly is starting to stick out and I THINK that maybe the morning sickness is subsiding (I hope because the medicine knocks me out)We are both so very excited and almost everyday we talk to friends who are also now pregnant! There are a ton of babies about to be born!

July 2004 Baby's heartbeat

We heard the heartbeat today! The baby's heartbeat is strong and of course very fast- about 160-170 beats per minute. The baby was moving around a lot, too!The doctor prescribed me some medicine for the morning sickness that just won't go away....I am healthy and the baby is too! We will have our next sonogram in two months (September) to determine if we are having a boy or a girl!

2nd trimester begins

We are now in our second trimester! Diapers and clothing and toys....oh my!Preparing for your arrival how quickly time goes by.We are 12 weeks today (Sunday June 27) and ALMOST out of the first trimester!

Hmmm...let's see- the baby LOVES Mexican Food apparently, as that is the only thing that will certainly stay down!

Some of Tim and my kids in the Kid's Ministry at church told their parents we are pregnant, but Daniel's parents weren't sure if they ought to believe him because back in December he asked them "Are Mr. Tim and Ms. Megan gonna have a baby?" So, when he told them recently, Mr. Tim and Ms. Megan are having a baby, they said "we know, someday they will...."Also, Anna from my group, upon hearing our announcement that we are having a baby, said "So THAT'S why you've gotten so fat!"One of my student's at school has been asking me for months if I like kids, when are we going to have a baby...So when I finally told my class they cheered and got really excited. Later, Tiffany asks me, did you have a baby because I kept asking you????! And of course, I told her "Yes, Tiffany it was all because of you!" She walked away very happy!(BTW they are all 1st graders!)
